As a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Wainaina watched patients work hard in treatment — only to relapse because they had no stable housing, no transportation, and no one genuinely in their corner. She built Hope & Chance to be the support ecosystem that makes clinical treatment truly work.

Dr. Wainaina saw the gap between what clinical care offered and what people in recovery actually needed. Treatment addressed the brain. But no one was addressing the home, the ride to the clinic, the community, or the trusted voice that had walked the same road.

Hope & Chance was built to fill that gap — to be the wraparound ecosystem that transforms treatment from a process into a pathway toward a genuinely rebuilt life.
